Title: Logistics Specialist

 

Summary of Role

The Logistics Specialist will play a crucial role in overseeing the transportation and distribution of goods. This includes packaging, manifesting, and providing supply tracking and call tags to customers as needed. This role will prepare and maintain essential shipping documents, such as bills of lading and shipping labels. To ensure exceptional customer satisfaction, this role will be responsible for cultivating strong relationships. This role will be responsible for providing timely updates on shipments and processing RMAs efficiently and punctually.

 

How You’ll Succeed

-Process orders, package items, create manifests, and track all items requested by customers, ensuring accurate documentation and timely shipment.

-Coordinate outbound shipments working with transportation departments to ensure timely delivery.

-Process all returns efficiently and punctually

-Prepare and maintain shipping documents, including bills of lading, shipping labels ensuring compliance.

-Maintain proper shipping supplies ensuring products are available for all order fulfillments.

-Maintain excellent relationships with customers by providing timely updates regarding shipments and addressing issues that arise.

-Safely operate moving equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.

 

What You Bring

-High School Diploma or higher

-5+ years of experience in shipping and logistics

-Proficient in shipping software and ERP Systems

-Basic computer skills

-Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in shipping and documentation

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
