Operational Account Manager (this role is a blend of overseeing Landscape Crew Operations + Client Management)
For more than 40 years, ArtisTree Landscape & Design, a Sunrise Landscape company, is a commercial landscape maintenance, design and installation company serving Florida with a commitment to service excellence.
The Operational Account Manager is responsible for building and maintaining strong client relationships while managing crews to deliver high-quality landscape services. This role is the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, overseeing day-to-day service execution, seasonal planning, and long-term property enhancement strategies. The ideal candidate has a strong background in client success, yet understands the unique operational needs of commercial and/or residential clients, and can translate those needs into clear service plans and solutions.

This role requires an experienced individual to lead our day-to-day field team while owning the client experience for assigned accounts. This team member will report to the General Manager of a branch and/or region. We are looking for team members who thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and looking to grow with us.
The compensation for this role will start at $65,000 USD base salary and commensurate with experience. This role is also eligible for an Account Management commission program which is a blend of a bonus + enhancement sale commissions.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the main contact for assigned properties, ensuring client satisfaction and trust.
- Conduct regular property walks and site inspections to ensure quality and adherence to contract specifications.
- Understand each client’s goals for aesthetics, functionality, and long-term property value.
Account Growth & Retention
- Identify enhancement opportunities such as seasonal color, irrigation upgrades, turf renovation, and hardscape improvements.
- Prepare and present proposals for additional services, upgrades, or contract renewals.
- Partner with sales and operations teams to develop tailored property improvement plans.
Operational Oversight, Service Coordination & Quality Control
- Work closely with field crews, supervisors, and operations managers to ensure services are delivered on time and to quality standards.
- Monitor contract compliance, budget performance, and seasonal schedules.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly to maintain client trust.
Seasonal & Strategic Planning
- Develop annual service calendars, including mowing, pruning, fertilization, seasonal plantings, and more enhancement work.
- Advise clients on sustainable landscaping practices and long-term site development.
What You Bring To Us:
- Previous experience and knowledge of landscaping, horticulture or adjacent services.
- Bachelors’ degree a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years’ of professional experience in a client facing role; prior operations experience preferred.
- Familiarity with Field Service Management software solutions for the green industry is a plus.
- Excellent track record in establishing and maintaining client relationships.
- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
- Proven ability to multitask and juggle several responsibilities simultaneously.
- Ability to travel to client sites within territory in Bradenton/Venice as needed (a company vehicle is provided and therefore a clean US driving record for the past 3 years is a requirement).
