This is a benefited, full time position generally working Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm. Hours will vary as needed. This is a hybrid position working 2-3 days/week on site in Del Mar with remaining days being remote.

What you'll do: 

  • Ensure Scripps patients and their families have an exceptional health care experience.
  • Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice.
  • Patient care includes compliance with patient assessments and care tasks, triaging, completion of clinical procedures, emergency protocols and medication administration.
  • Works collaboratively with the other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:

  • ADN or Nursing Diploma

Required Certification/Registration:

  • CA RN license; BLS required in a clinical setting

Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:

  • BSN
  • Outpatient experience as an RN
  • Diabetes & endocrinology experience
  • Ample patient education experience
  • Weight management & bariatrics experience
  • Epic experience
