Stage Manager at Orlin Trapp Auditorium Waukegan High School
The Stage Manager is directly responsible to the Auditorium Manager. In the event of the Auditorium Manager's absence, the Stage Manager is to temporarily assume the role of Auditorium Manager.
Responsibilities: General Duties/Auditorium Activity: (1) Supervise and control all use of auditorium facilities and equipment (2) Rental of the facilities to outside groups; (3) District 60 school music concerts; (4) School productions, plays and musicals; (5) Semi-production type of school programs: i.e. Orchesis, Talent Show; (6) Night-time school programs: i.e. P.T.A., Scholastic Awards, Athletic Awards, Parent Clubs; (7) Day-time school programs: i.e. assemblies, class movies, guidance programs. Specific Duties: (1) Coordinate the bringing in and taking out the companies' equipment; (2) Set up and take down stage equipment, set and operate stage lights, and set up and operate the sound system; (3) Design and operate all stage lighting and sound equipment; (4) Facilitate the setting of the stage.
Requirements: (1) Standard Illinois Teaching Certificate; (2) Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays; (3) Must be able to pick up and move risers, chairs, music stands, etc.
Salary: Professional hourly rate of pay. Must submit timesheet to Payroll.
