Position: Custodian – Florence Jr./Sr. High School

Summary:
Florence Jr./Sr. High School is seeking a dedicated and dependable Custodian to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, physically capable, and committed to teamwork, ensuring that our facilities are well-kept and supportive of the school community.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in custodial care of buildings and grounds.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper usage.
• Ability to work effectively with school staff, district personnel, students, and community members.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
• Physically capable of performing various custodial tasks, including lifting, pushing, pulling, digging, and twisting.
• Successful completion of all required criminal background checks and fingerprinting.
• Completion of a pre-employment physical examination.
• Completion of any required state and district safety and health training.

Job Description:

• Full-time position: 9-hour workdays, four days per week.
• Perform general custodial duties to maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment for students, staff, and visitors.
