Middle ELA Teacher (long-term substitute) bei Lower Merion School District

Black Rock Middle School is anticipating seeking a long-term substitute ELA Teacher. 

PA Certification in 7-12 English or 4-8 in ELA required. Out-of-state educators should explore PA's reciprocity guidelines set by the PA Department of Education.  Pennsylvania Certification information is available at  https://www.education.pa.gov/Educators/Certification/OutOfState/Pages/default.aspx

Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of students and experience working with students with various types of educational disabilities required; Experience supporting the learning needs of students receiving Learning Support services within an inclusive setting at the high school level preferred. 

3-5 years teaching experience preferred.  Good standing relative to Act 48 credits. Child abuse, PA State Police and FBI clearances (no less than one year from date of hire).

This is a long-term substitute position beginning immediately lasting until the end of January 2026.

Salary and benefits set by LMEA Collective Bargaining Agreement.
