The King’s Trust is looking for a creative and proactive Video Content Creator Executive to produce engaging, mobile-first videos for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and other platforms.

You will bring stories from across the UK to life- from concept and planning through to filming, editing and delivery, helping us inspire and connect with audiences while showcasing the impact of our work with young people.

How does this role impact young people?

As Video Content Creator Executive, your work will amplify the voices and experiences of young people, sharing their stories with audiences across the UK and beyond. By creating engaging, mobile-first video content that inspires action, you’ll help raise awareness, attract funding, and build support for programmes that give young people the skills, confidence, and opportunities they need to succeed.

What will you do?

  • Shoot and edit thumb-stopping social content, including Reels, Stories, TikToks and Shorts.

  • Plan and schedule shoots to capture the right moments at the right time.

  • Capture content using both mobile devices and professional camera equipment, including external microphones.

  • Optimise edits for each platform while staying ahead of trends, formats and best practices.

  • Analyse performance data and adapt quickly to improve results.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify and deliver compelling stories.

The skills you’ll bring:

All of the roles at The Trust are key to our success and there are certain skills we need to be successful. And while we will shortlist the most qualified people for the role, we ask everyone for a supporting statement (cover letter). If you think you could do the role, but don’t have all the desirable experience, we would still love to see an application from you.

We really need you to have these:

  • A portfolio showcasing original, social-first video content for TikTok, Instagram and YouTube.

  • Proven experience in mobile-first filming and editing using Premiere Pro, Adobe Express, CapCut, Canva, or similar tools.

  • Strong visual storytelling skills, with the ability to turn complex messages into engaging narratives.

  • Knowledge of social media video formats, trends and audience engagement strategies.

  • Ability to work independently, manage your time effectively and meet deadlines.

We would love it if you could also do this:

  • Understand SEO, hashtags and algorithm mechanics for TikTok, YouTube and Instagram.

  • Have experience with professional camera and lighting equipment.

  • Possess basic graphic design skills.

  • Be familiar with accessibility standards for video.

  • Have experience working in the charity sector or with youth-focused storytelling.

  • Bring a background in marketing or communications- although creativity matters more than qualifications.

Why join us?

This is your chance to create impactful content that amplifies the voices of young people and showcases the life-changing work of The King’s Trust. You’ll be part of a talented team of videographers, web designers and photographers- producing content that’s seen across the UK and beyond.
