Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth, expand market share, and enhance wholesale performance in Canada while aligning local strategies with regional and global objectives.
- Drive sales initiatives to achieve revenue targets, demonstrating a proven ability to create new accounts and generate significant sales volume.
- Lead and inspire a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, excellence, adaptability, and accountability.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance with Canadian laws and regulations, and exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Streamline and optimize processes to improve operational effectiveness, cost efficiency, and business performance.
- Utilize data and analytics to optimize strategies and adapt to the dynamic Canadian market landscape.
- Demonstrate exceptional communication and listening skills, advocating effectively for the Canadian market within the broader organization.
- Partner with retail and eCommerce teams to enhance direct-to-consumer business channels, offering insights into strategies to engage and grow the Canadian consumer base.
- Collaborate with regional and global marketing teams to develop and implement localized strategies that strengthen brand presence, enhance consumer loyalty, and meet the unique needs of the Canadian market.
- Work with HR to ensure compliance with Canadian employment laws and policies, supporting a people-first workplace culture.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience: 10+ years of leadership driving business success in the Canadian market, with proven expertise in consumer goods or retail; experience in luggage or travel accessories is a plus.
- Sales and Growth Success: Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth with a strategic, sales-driven mindset.
- Leadership and Team Management: Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and a people-focused approach.
