As an Information & Communications Technology (ICT) Mobility Specialist, you will provide technical and administrative support for Port of Seattle managed smartphones, tablets, cell phones, and cellular data devices. You will be procuring, asset tracking, provisioning, and deploying mobile devices with users.
- You will facilitate the procurement and deployment of multi-platform mobile devices to meet the specific needs and requirements of users and business stakeholders.
- You will perform administrative tasks in a mobile device management (MDM) server.
- You will provide Tier II technical support for mobile devices, including troubleshooting and diagnosing hardware and software issues.
- You will utilize cellular carrier tools, administer feature changes, updates, reports, and activations of cellular lines and hardware among managed cellular accounts.
- You will participate in assigned project deployments and collaborate with Mobility team leads to formulate strategies and deployments based on the project’s vision and requirements.

- Proficient – You have expertise in mobile devices (iOS, iPadOS, Android OS), cellular technology, and carrier services, including activation and feature updates. You are experienced with Mobile Device Management (MDM) in enterprise environments—handling setup, app deployment, and configuration. You are also skilled in accurate data entry and asset management, including inventory tracking and overseeing device lifecycles.

You also provide friendly and effective customer service, explaining technical issues in non-technical terms and providing clear instructions. You have strong organizational skills, keen attention to detail and adaptability.
- Problem-Solver – You can diagnose and resolve technical issues related to mobile devices and can accomplish tasks in an organized and prioritized manner. You can also troubleshoot problems, work with collaborating vendors, and find solutions quickly.
- Technically Skilled – You have strong proficiency with enterprise support applications such as Apple Business Manager and Android Enterprise.

- Work Schedule – Your normal work schedule will be Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (40 hours per week). Slightly more flexible start and end times are available in this role after completing a six (6) month probationary period. You may be required to work any and all assigned shifts, including weekends, holidays, on call rotations, and during emergencies.
- Work Environment – You will primarily work in an office environment. After successful completion of probation period, you may be able to work in a hybrid/in-office setting at Management’s discretion 3 days at the office/2 days remote.
- Washington State Residency Requirement – Employees must establish a residence in Washington state within 30 days of their first day of employment and must maintain a residence in Washington State during their employment with the Port of Seattle. If a position is eligible to telework, work performed while teleworking must be performed in Washington State.
- Overtime Eligible – You are eligible for overtime pay in this role.
- Security Requirements – As the successful candidate, you must pass a Transportation Security Administration (TSA) background check as well as a criminal history background check with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Your employment will be contingent upon obtaining a Port of Seattle ID badge upon clearance.
- Security Requirements – In this role, you will be required to access Port of Seattle Police Department equipment, office locations, systems and/or vehicles. In compliance with Federal and State laws as the successful candidate, you will be required to pass a Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) criminal history background check.
