The San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools office acts as an intermediate service agency between the California Department of Education and the 33 school districts in San Bernardino County to help meet the educational needs of all children county-wide. We are committed to working with our school districts, other agencies, families and the community at large by providing services, information and leadership, always with a focus on students.

Job Summary

As a member of the Student Services team, the Curriculum Specialist will provide leadership and assist in a wide variety of curriculum and instructional activities, including curriculum development and integration, assessments and data analysis, effective strategies and practices, evaluation of program effectiveness, grant writing and management, and building strong partnerships with Student Services staff and community.

Applicants must meet the minimum qualifications and provide all necessary materials on-line prior to the stated deadline to qualify as a candidate. A valid California Driver’s License is required prior to the start of employment.

Requirements / Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • Possession of a valid California Administrative Services Credential -or- Certificate of Eligibility (COE); • Possession of a Master’s degree in Special Education, Education, or a related field from an accredited college or university; • Possession of a valid California Special Education Teaching Credential; • Three (3) years of experience working with special education programs; • Experience in curriculum development, instructional methodology, and assessment; • Two (2) years of experience providing staff development at the district or county level; • Two (2) years of experience in a lead or advisory position.
