We have a current opening for an Learning & Development Intern for our Sacramento, CA office.
Summary:
Are you results-oriented, resourceful, and curious? Do you enjoy building relationships and driving change? The Learning & Development Intern will assist with multiple responsibilities on the Human Resources team. Key responsibilities include training content development, learning program support, and coordination of training activities.
Intern Learning Outcomes:
- Develop and implement organizational skills
- Gain knowledge of the construction industry
- Improve communication skills; verbal and written
- Hone project management skills
- Analyze processes and communicate findings and recommendations
- Enhance MS Suite, LMS, and media development skills
What your duties and responsibilities consist of:
- Analyzes business unit needs and develops training solutions
- Builds relationships with stakeholders and gains insight into desired outcomes and needs
- Assists in the design, development, and implementation of learning programs
- Coordinates scheduling of training course offerings and tracks engagement and attendance
- Creates graphics, videos, and visual job aids to enhance learning materials
- Collaborates with Learning and Development Specialist in the identification of key learning objectives. Tracks and reports on progress toward goals
- LMS (Learning Management System) administration
- Executes additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
Who we are looking for:
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to build and maintain effective interpersonal relationships is required
- Commitment to Royal Linking Values, with attention to Integrity, Expertise, Passion, Collaboration, and Loyalty
- Familiarity with digital media development is highly desired
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to frequent change, delays or unexpected events is required
- Ability to demonstrate the competencies of achieving results, initiative, communication, and teamwork is required
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Familiarity with creative software such as Adobe Photoshop, Canva, CapCut, etc.
- Self-starting mindset with the ability to seek out and research solutions to problems
- Excellent communication and writing skills in English
Salary Range:
- $21.00 - $25.00
