Role Overview:
We're looking for an experienced, high-energy Associate Sales Executive to join our NYC-based Partnerships team. In this full-cycle sales role, you will be responsible for driving new business growth by acquiring and closing new and existing customers. You will serve as a category and product expert, targeting businesses in the aesthetics, beauty, and wellness industries. You will look to other industries to prospect and secure revenue, such as fashion, finance and travel. This is a unique opportunity to own the full sales process, from initial outreach to contract closing, and to play a key role in expanding our brand partnerships.
Plus Commission!

Key Responsibilities:
Drive Revenue: Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and pitching to negotiating and closing new business.
Grow Client Base & Partnerships: Seek new client leads and partnerships for RealSelf while maintaining our deep relationships with existing brand partners. Manage the sales pipeline and consistently deliver against quarterly and annual quota, hitting target goals and closing new business.
Be a Strategic Partner: Work with brand partners to understand their goals and develop custom solutions that utilize our full ecosystem of opportunities.
Be a Team Player: Support the Partnerships team in leading campaign kick-offs with clients, helping to manage all timelines, assets and opportunities for optimization. Understand sold campaign requirements and communicate them clearly to the partnerships team.
Collaborate Internally: Partner with our Partnerships and Digital teams on pre-sale strategy, RFP responses, proactive pitches and program implementation, ensuring campaigns launch on time and deliver on what was sold. Contribute to and analyze wrap reports and identify upsell opportunities from performance.
You will report directly into the VP of Partnerships.
Requirements:
You have a minimum of 3 years of full-cycle sales experience in media or a related industry.
You possess excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a proven ability to close deals and secure renewals.
You are highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong time management and problem-solving abilities.
You can prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
You are NYC-based and able to work in our downtown office 2-3 days a week.
Experience with ad platforms and systems such as Google Analytics, Google Ad Manager, and Salesforce is a plus.
Bonus Qualities
Early employee or one of the first sales hires at a startup.
Experience with upsell motions or working at a marketplace acquiring supply.
Full-stack sales skills, including self-prospecting.
Background in beauty, aesthetics, or healthcare industries.
