Position Description:

The Studio Assistant III is a part time position and will provide academic and technical support for the Glass Art Area within the Fine Arts department. Duties include, but are not limited to supporting faculty and students in the classroom environment and participating in departmental projects. Additional responsibilities include the oversight and maintenance of equipment, tools, facilities, and schedules of the Cressman Center's glass area. Other related duties will be assigned on an as-needed basis.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in studio art or comparable, with experience in glassmaking processes and techniques.

  • Familiarity with the construction, care, and maintenance of glass and art studio equipment and tools is preferred.
