Kleen-Rite Transportation is a Dedicated Private Carrier for Kleen-Rite Corporation - Your Reliable Supplier for the Car Wash Industry. Family-Owned and Operated since 1959, we are based out of Columbia, PA with distribution centers in Grand Prairie, TX, Las Vegas, NV and Kansas City, MO.
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class A CDL Driver to join our established transportation team. The ideal candidate will either hold, or be able to obtain, a Hazardous Materials (H) or Hazmat + Tanker (X) endorsement. This role offers a rotating schedule with a combination of long-haul trips (4–12 nights over-the-road) to our distribution centers in Missouri, Texas, and Nevada, as well as shorter regional routes (typically 1 night over-the-road). Responsibilities:
- Safely operate assigned truck to regional and cross-country destinations
- Communicate and coordinate effectively with dispatch
- Plan routes, meet delivery schedules, and comply with all traffic laws and regulations (local, state, federal)
- Secure, arrange, and balance cargo appropriately
- Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections; report and address defects, mechanical issues, or safety concerns
- Maintain accurate Electronic Log Device (ELD) records and other required documentation
- Conduct daily maintenance of truck (refueling, cleaning, routine checks)
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or pallet jacks as needed
- Interact professionally with customers at pickup and delivery locations
- Comply with FMCSA random drug and alcohol testing requirements
Qualifications:
- Clean driving record
- Current Class A CDL (with current or obtainable Hazmat [H] or [X] endorsement)
- 2+ years proven experience operating similar equipment preferred
- Ability to drive long distances and be on the road up to two weeks
- Medical Certificate and ability to pass a DOT physical exam
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA safety regulations
- Comfortable using GPS, ELD, and related technology
- Sufficient physical fitness, hand-eye coordination, vision, and hearing acuity to perform essential duties
