This role will specialize in cable and wire harness manufacturing.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Design, implement and streamline manufacturing processes, equipment, and procedures as it relates to cable and harness manufacturing
- Assist with continuous improvement 6-Sigma activities
- Assist in plant layout changes to improve flow and minimize waste
- Apply advanced knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the mechanical engineering/design field
- Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
- Wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
- May lead and direct the work of others
Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering plus minimum of 6 years of cable and wire harness manufacturing support
- IPC certified a plus
