Are you ready to make a real difference in people's lives? Join the Harris Center for Mental Health and IDD as a Lobby Ambassador. The Lobby Ambassador initiates the overall first impression of our guest’s arrival experience in the clinic; provide friendly customer service while directing guests entering the building to the reception desk; encourage completion of Satisfaction Surveys; and reports suspicious behaviors to security/clinic leadership.
Your Role in Action
- Manages curbside RX pick-ups/deliveries.
- Administrative duties (as needed by clinic leadership) – folding and distributing brochures; preparing mail outs; sorting/distributing office supplies; and/or assisting in maintaining Daily No-Show log.
- Monitor/Observe client activity in clinic lobbies.
- Direct all persons entering the clinic to the reception desk for check-in.
- Provide friendly customer service with a smile and warm greeting.
- Observe body language and engage elevated behaviors with friendly greeting.
- Report suspicious or aggressive behaviors to clinic leadership – security, Office Supervisor, CTL(s), and/or Practice Manager.
- Maintain lobby’s appearance.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
What qualifications you will need:
Education:
- High School Diploma or General Education diploma
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to stand/walk for several hours at a time.
- Ability to work effectively independently with limited supervision.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality of all work-related matters
- Ability to identify and offer solutions to resolve problems.
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills, and interact effectively at all levels within the organization, and with consumers and the public.
