Job Title: Stretch Operator

Job Summary: According to the production plan to load pvb for the stretch machine

Job Function:

• Responsible to supervisor, follow supervisor's and Utility(Coordinator) 's production plan and arrangement.Shift operation and production daily report.                                        
• Attend pre-shift meeting and inform meeting content to other employees in PVB stretch room                                        
• Assist supervisor, team leaders and planner to manage PVB stretch room work                                        
• Finish changeover on time and production status must be passed to next shift, check equipment status before running                                        
• Check PVB type, length, width and parameters before running                                        
• Measure more than 3 in first 10 pieces after machine starts running, measure every 30 pieces after that                                        
• Record label information for each job, put urgent orders on table (make sure the part number, sequence, quantity, color band and its width is correct                          
• Put 200±30 pieces PVB on each table, record the sequence on each table, and then adjust humidity in humidity room                                        
• Make sure record PVB stretch status properly as machines are running                                        
• Never stop the stretch machine without permission from planners, manage employees to take turns for break                                        
• Go to lamination room three times per shift to check PVB quality, then analyze and fix quality issues, share with next shift during shift changeover to improve yield rate                                        
• Clean stretch machine thoroughly once a week (heating board, cylinders, transport conveyor and cutting point)                                        
• Control PVB wastage and keep tracking PVB quality                                        
• Be aware of surrounding, hazards and how to control it                                        

Qualifications: 

• "Languages spoken commonly in the workplace are English and Mandarin. - Ability to read, understand and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Ability to speak effectively and interact with other team members, engineers, leadership and customers."                                    
• 1 to 3 years manufacturing experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.                                    
• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)                                    
• "The employee is regularly required o stand for long periods. Duties include turning at the waist, reaching, bending, squatting and lifting up to 50 pounds.   Ability to pass static strength requirements (grip) 
• Visual acuity including, but not limited to:                                                                                                                                                               
• a. NEAR ACUITY - Clarity of vision at 20 inches or less. Use this factor when special and minute accuracy is demanded.
• b. FAR ACUITY - Clarity of vision at 20 feet or more. Use this factor when visual efficiency in terms of far acuity is required in day and night/dark conditions.
• c. DEPTH PERCEPTION - Three-dimensional vision. Ability to judge distances and spatial relationships so as to see objects where and as they actually are.
• d. COLOR VISION - Ability to identify and distinguish colors.
• e. FIELD OF VISION - Observing an area that can be seen up and down or to right or left while eyes are fixed on a given point. 
•  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Safety requirements for this position
• are safety glasses, hearing protection and steel-toed work boots
