The new iconic landmark offers unforgettable views of the Atlantic paired with unrivalled convenience and intelligently designed meeting spaces. The hotel will be directly connected to the Broward County Convention Center, immediately adjacent to Port Everglades cruise terminal and less than two miles from Fort Lauderdale Airport.

Be a part of the pre-opening team for the Omni Ft. Lauderdale Hotel!
Opening Fall 2025, the Omni Ft. Lauderdale Hotel is a 29-story hotel, located at 1950 Eisenhower Blvd, and connected directly to the Broward County Convention. The property offers 801 guest rooms and suites, multiple restaurants, a vibrant rooftop bar, a sprawling pool, spa, and fitness center. The hotel will also have over 120,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space, including a grand ballroom, junior ballroom, 25 breakout rooms and pre-function meeting space with waterfront views.
To provide technical and administrative assistance to the Director of Engineering Services and to assist the Director of Engineering Services in the operational aspect of the Engineering Department.
Responsibilities:- Daily cleaning of the pool, hot tub, and fountains in the hotel.
- Maintain safe and correct water chemistry levels in all water features.
- Maintain all mechanical equipment including heaters, filters, pumps and controllers associated with pools, spas, and fountains.
- Maintain correct stock/inventory of pool chemicals and communicate when replenishment is needed.
- Respond to all requests.
- Assist engineers and mechanics as needed with repairs.
- Keep all work areas clean.
- Fill out your daily work form.
- Have a thorough understanding of Omni's fire alarm procedures and emergency evacuation.
- Must be familiar with Omni's systems and procedures.
- Be familiar with computer-based building automation systems.
- Maintain house music levels at the spa, pool deck, and fitness center
- CPO Certification is required
- Knowledge of all pool equipment and water chemistry.
- Must be willing to work based on business and occupancy levels.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
- Must be able to interact and communicate with the hotel guests.
- Move, bend, lift, carry, crawl, squat, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance. Stand, walk or sit for an extended period or for an entire work shift.
- Must work indoors and outdoors including during extreme weather conditions.
- May be asked to be part of “ride-out” crew during severe weather events
- Must be able to work using ladders, scissors, and aerial lifts.
