HVAC Sales Representative bei A.B May

The HVAC Sales Representative is responsible for building positive relationships with customers, closing sales, developing new accounts, ensuring repeat business from existing customers, and making a positive impact in the company. They are also required to perform load calculations, engineer/design HVAC systems, and has a general working knowledge of this industry.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

· Secures orders from existing and potential customers by means of visiting the customer facility or place of residence.

· Secures opportunities to quote on customer requirements.

· Follows up (by phone or visit) on quotations submitted to customers.

· Knowledge and experience with testing devices to check airflow, refrigerant pressure, electrical circuits, burners and other components.

· Must follow all safety policies and procedures to prevent personal injury, auto or property damage to customers’ homes or commercial businesses.

· Possess a good driving record and hold a valid Motor Vehicle Operator’s license.

· Must be punctual and have good attendance. (See Employee Handbook).

· High expectation of personal hygiene and cleanliness during the work day when interacting with customers.

· Will be required to work a variety of work shifts, weekends and evenings.

· Other duties as assigned

· Position requires walking, bending, standing, sitting, reaching, climbing, stretching, hearing and seeing.

· Position may require working in following environments: hot, cold, cramped, dusty, and elevated environments.

· Also works in an office environment.
