Summary/Objectives
The Delivery Driver is responsible for timely delivery and installation of copiers / office equipment, while ensuring correct equipment is loaded and secured to prevent damage during delivery. The Driver must check equipment against paperwork to prevent errors in serial numbers. Prior to daily routes, check vehicles to ensure proper operation and to prevent possible problems.
Drivers must display high sociability with the customers to create the most helpful, courteous impression possible while ensuring the proper operation of the machines upon installation and place a service call if necessary. After installation, drivers must communicate progress throughout the day to the Logistics Manager, so information can be exchanged with the sales staff. Additionally, they will document returned machines including copy counts and accessory serial numbers.
The Equipment Delivery Driver must complete a DOT exam and a clear driving record.
Essential Functions

- Interface with customers regarding machine placement and effective use.
- Proper loading and delivery of equipment with a minimum of damage.
- Proper paperwork designation of returned Blue Tag (customer machines) or Red Tag (thrid party machines) with accompanying serial numbers and copy counts.
- Cleanliness and maintenance check of trucks and warehouse.
- Must complete and pass an acceptable DOT exam.
Work Environment
Office and Warehouse environment. Our warehouse is heated, but not cooled.
It can be very hot in the summer time and very cold in the winter time.
Physical Demands
Capable of lifting 50-75 lbs.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
Full time Monday – Friday.
Occasional weekends and overtime available depending on workload.
