Description

The Inventory Associate will be a support to Acker Storage LLC’s storage operations. This position will sort, load and unload products, along with other various warehouse activities.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Inspect product for defects and damages.
  • Organize, barcode, and box items for sale 
  • Check, verify and fill orders.
  • Conducts frequent spot and partial audits of physical inventory.
  • Assists with periodic physical inventory audits.
  • Operates forklift truck when necessary.
  • Abide by all company safety standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
  • Performs other related duties as requested.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Extremely organized and able to work with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations.

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Forklift operator certification a plus.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, stand, sit and reach.
  • Stand or walk for long periods of time.
  • Ability to regularly lift and move 40 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Navigate a warehouse and reach items both high and low. 

Working Conditions:

  • Temperature controlled warehouse environment.
  • Working hours are typically from 8am to 4:30pm with a half hour lunch. 
  • Must be available to work overtime, including Saturdays when requested.
