APPLICATION MUST INCLUDE; A current updated resume, 2 letters of recommendation (physically signed and dated within 36 months) and a letter of intent. A complete application will go through the screening process and an incomplete application will not. Letters of recommendation written by relatives will not be accepted. EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade with supplemental coursework or training equivalent to a painting apprenticeship program and two (2) years of journey-level painting experience Or any combination of education, training, and/or experience which demonstrates ability to perform the essential duties may be substituted for the required experience and/or education.

New hires with no previous work experience in same or like position will be placed on Step 1 ($32.64). Up to 2 years Painter, credit service can be given Step 3 ($34.28)

LICENSE: Possession of a valid California Driver’s License and eligible for insurance under the District insurance carrier in the operation of District vehicles
