Physical Therapist - Targeted Eval Team

Department: NJ DS Physical Therapist Location: West New York, NJ

Sunny Days is seeking a Full Time, Part Time or Independent Contractor Physical Therapist for our Targeted Evaluation Team in Hudson County

Benefits:

    • $85,000 - $95,000 per year for full time employees
    • $60 - $70 per hour for part time employees
    • $80 - $90+ per hour for independent contractors

Job Responsibility:

  • Evaluation and assessment shall be conducted in accordance with the provisions of the federal Part C regulations, NJEIS rules, Approved NJEIS State Plan and these policies and procedures.
  • Evaluations and assessments must be conducted by qualified practitioners trained to utilize appropriate methods and procedures.
  • Additional standardized and criterion referenced evaluation tool(s) are administered when needed to clarify or augment information about the child�s functional development.
  • Attendance at all IFSP meetings.
  • Demonstrate completion of the state-mandated training of evaluation requirements, fidelity trainings, IFSP training, Procedural Safeguards modules and license renewals, certifications.
  • Perform other duties as assigned/required.

Experience/Qualifications:

  • Candidates that meet the standards for any professional level EI personnel position.
  • Maintains current Physical Therapist licensure as required by Professional licensing board.
  • Minimum of 400 hours field experience in Early Intervention.
  • Prior evaluation/assessment skills using standardized tools required.
  • Solid knowledge of the basic elements of Evaluation: skill criteria, administration of required items, concepts of basal, ceiling and raw scores, and the relationship between these findings and child development.
  • Ability to use kit manipulatives as required by the tool.
  • Must be able to travel.
