Position Title
Section Incharge – Process
Purpose of the Position (Job Summary)
To execute safe & efficient operations of the Caustic Concentration Unit & 600TPD flaker plant including warehouse activity.
Key Individual Accountabilities
- Responsible for safe & efficient operations of the CCU and Flaker Plant and focus on process & quality improvement. - Execute day to day production plans in accordance with the monthly budget and execute plans for process jobs (including plant shutdown and equipment shutdown). - Coordination with marketing team and QAD for third party inspection/ remote inspection of lot for stuffing of export containers. - AMC and CMC for material handling equipment and timely repairs of material handling equipment’s which are in company scope. - Handling of contract manpower for 600 TPD flaker plant. - Verifying bills of warehouse contractors and various SAP activities. - Responsible for segregation of off specs materials and packaging. · Process monitoring - Carry out daily checks of logbooks to monitor plant performance and coordinate with the team for further corrective action to ensure consistent performance. - Support in MIS preparation of section · Inventory planning and procurement support - Raise & monitor indents for the procurement of material for the section
· Quality / Environment / Health & Safety Management - To ensure quality adherence of the processes and carry out actions to address any quality issue. - Ensure safe operations of the plant, minimise direct exposure to hazardous chemicals and ensure compliance with air and water pollution standards and other statutory requirements. - To actively participate in the activities to achieve planned production, consistent with prescribed quality standard. Work on improving existing departments metrics (Production and Quality)

· B.E/B.Tech – Chemical with experience of 7+ years in medium to large chemical/ chlor alkali industries.
· Should possess strong attention to detail and willingness to work through any issues that emerge
· Should possess excellent interpersonal skills, team management skills & leadership skills.
· Should be able to align and engage team through effective communication.
· Should have knowledge of ISO standards and procedures.
· Operational knowledge of Computers including SAP.
· Should have exposure of necessary statutory compliance.
· Should have knowledge & exposure of Environment, Health & Safety requirements.
