Key Responsibilities
- Lead the customer-facing workstreams of the Betashares Superannuation and member transition projects, define the Project scope, milestones, and timelines required to achieve the business outcomes.
- Collaborate with the Delivery Manager on the Operational workstreams and jointly lead the program management, including program structure, required internal and external forums, protocols to manage across the program risk, issues, interdependencies, key decision-making and communications.
- Build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with internal and external vendor partners to align priorities and manage expectations.
- Management and oversight of the end-to-end streams within the Projects – delivery, schedule and milestones, dependencies, budget, resource and contingency management.
- Engage with key internal and external stakeholders, ensuring they effectively support the product delivery and collaborate closely with key relationship managers for material outsource providers.
- Facilitate effective project meetings, ensuring thorough follow-up on action items and the successful and timely execution of tasks.
- Ensure decisions, risks and issues are documented appropriately and communicated across the team.
- Define, monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track program health, progress and outcomes, tracking of interdependencies and delivering clear and actionable updates to executives and delivery owners.
- Provide leadership and expertise for the following workstreams of the Betashares Super and Bendigo Super transition projects, as well as additional areas as agreed:
- The holistic member experience across technology, Marketing, Comms, Member Support, Data integration and Sales.
- The future investment solution and menu for the Superannuation and Pension offering.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Preferably, minimum 5 years of experience in a similar or highly complementary role, including strategic product management.
- Good understanding of superannuation and wealth management products, process and regulatory environment.
- Highly developed delivery and implementation skills, problem solving and analytical skills.
- Proven track record of leading and successfully delivering complex projects of work across cross-functional teams and external vendor partners.
- Excellent numerical proficiency, strong commercial acumen, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Comprehensive understanding of Superannuation, market structures and the broader asset management ecosystem.
- Significant experience in setting up and maintaining robust project governance.
- Excellent communication and collaboration mindset.
- Strong ability to utilise data and information to draw out insights and drive outcomes.
- Capacity to quickly comprehend intricate concepts and adjust to shifting circumstances.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; advanced certifications such as CFA or a Master of Applied Finance are advantageous.
- Agile or similar certification would be highly desirable.
