Student Worker – Financial Aid Assistant

Purpose/Objective of the Role:
- Motivated and detail-oriented student seeking the Financial Aid Student Assistant position to gain hands-on experience in a professional office environment, learn financial aid processes, and contribute to the team’s efficiency and organization.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Perform basic receptionist and administrative assistant duties
- Corresponding with current and prospective students and parents via email, phone, mail, or walk-ins as well as scheduling
- Maintaining an organized file room
- Log documents that the office receives into PowerFAIDS
- Complete data entry projects as given by the financial aid directors
Qualifications/Skills:
- Entry-level, but any internships or office experience is valued
- Willingness to learn quickly and on the job
- Some excel knowledge is preferred
- A general interest in the interworking of financial aid is desired
- Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
