Summary

As a Data Readiness Lead, you would be highly driven and detail-obsessed & take ownership of data setup activities across critical transformation programs. You will act as the data taskmaster, ensuring that all datasets are correctly configured, validated, and available for use across systems and teams.  You’ll work across business units, data teams, and technology functions to ensure 100% data readiness, eliminate setup gaps, and enforce consistency and quality throughout the data lifecycle. This is an execution-heavy role for someone who thrives on structure, accountability, and delivering clean, reliable data for enterprise initiatives

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end readiness of datasets required for business transformation, focusing on accuracy, completeness, and timely availability.
  • Act as the central coordinator for data setup activities across all functional areas (e.g., customer, product, finance, supplier, inventory).
  • Collaborate with data stewards, business SMEs, IT, and engineering teams to ensure correct data definitions, attributes, and dependencies are applied.
  • Create and manage detailed checklists and readiness dashboards to monitor data setup progress, identify gaps, and escalate issues.
  • Enforce data quality standards and validation checkpoints before data is consumed by downstream systems or analytics.
  • Support program managers with the data perspective in go-live readiness reviews, cutover planning, and testing.
  • Drive accountability across teams to close open data issues and maintain discipline in execution timelines.
  • Document data setup workflows, business rules, and control processes for ongoing governance and reuse.

Eligibility Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in data operations, data quality, master data management, or transformation program support.
  • Proven track record of owning complex data setup processes with zero margin for error.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise data domains (e.g., master data, reference data, transactional data).
  • Hands-on experience with data platforms, spreadsheets, issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira), and data quality frameworks.
  • Strong coordination, organization, and communication skills to manage across functions and deadlines.
  • Ideal Skills and Experience:
    • Methodologies: Familiarity with enterprise transformation methodologies or frameworks
    • Tooling: Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools like Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms.
    • Data & Analytics: A strong understanding of data concepts, data warehousing, is highly desirable to effectively communicate with data engineering and analytics teams.
    • Industry Knowledge: Prior experience in a professional services or consulting environment is a significant plus.

In the US, the target base salary for this role is $150K-$180K. Compensation is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography. We expect the majority of candidates who are offered roles at our company to fall throughout the range based on these factors.
