Role Overview
Are you a detail-oriented professional with a knack for organization and a passion for delivering exceptional service? Join our General Agency team as a Resource Specialist and play a vital role in supporting internal and external business partners.
What You’ll Do:
- Serve as the first point of contact for incoming requests, ensuring a smooth and professional customer experience.
- Provide analytical support to help drive informed decision-making.
- Efficiently route and assign work to the appropriate team members to maintain workflow efficiency.
This seasonal position begins in September 2025 and concludes in January 2026. It is perfect for someone looking to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ability to work independently and self-motivate
- Assist in maintaining and monitoring data for established customers
- Demonstrates ability to handle a large volume of service requests accurately in an effective manner with close attention to detail
- Maintain a current and thorough knowledge of all aspects of Carrier and Business Partners, and the insurance services group structure
- Maintain customer files and records
- Maintain quality control standards for all assignments of work, focusing on accuracy and timeliness
- Maintaining cross-training knowledge in other insurance services group teams
- Provide a high-level review of the paperwork received and contact the customer if information is missing
- Responsible for the “first touch” of customer service, manage incoming inquiries and either provide a prompt solution or assign to an appropriate team member
- Understand and utilize available resources, systems, and contacts, both internally and externally
- Support other functions as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent recommended
- Experience in customer service preferred.
- Knowledge of Commercial healthcare insurance preferred
