Minimum Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as building science, construction, sustainability, architecture, business. Years of experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in energy modeling, building science, construction. Credentials from RESNET, Home Innovation Labs (NGBS), or other relevant green building and energy efficiency programs.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Attention to detail and following standard operating procedures. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Self-drive, initiative and problem solving skills. Thorough knowledge of residential energy modeling software and the RESNET standards underpinning program requirements related to Energy Star and National Green Building Standard. Must be proficient in ekotrope and Google ‘G Suite’: Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Drive and Meet. Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to deliver results on deadlines. Ability to collaborate with MES Team Members and their Project Teams (Developer, Architect, Builder, Engineers, Subcontractors).

Essential Functions Create and update residential energy models across all programs and services (HERS, NGBS, Energy Star). Create and update Utility Analysis and Incentive-based deliverables (e.g. HIEE in Virginia) across all State Housing Agencies. Create and update the residential energy modeling for SEDI deliverables. Conduct Gap Analysis & Scenario Modeling to help clients understand design changes. Provide ad hoc energy modeling and initial project reviews for the Sales Team. Act as ekotrope Library Curator to maintain a clear and consistent library of components. Write and update relevant Standard Operating Procedures related to energy modeling and software, to ensure that our methods are RESNET compliant.
