United Fiber in Savannah, MO is looking to hire a full-time Network Engineer. The Network Engineer will report directly to the Network Operations Manager and is responsible for the provisioning, configuration, maintenance, and training of all network elements for United and our clients. This IT position earns a competitive salary between $100,000-$110,000. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A NETWORK ENGINEER

As a Network Engineer, you are part of the Network Operations team that helps analyze, develop, and document the software, hardware, and processes to ensure United's network runs smoothly.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A NETWORK ENGINEER

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Two or more years of related experience in network administration
  • Exposure to an Internet Service Provider (ISP) environment
  • Valid driver's license
  • Thorough understanding of Network technologies and fundamentals (OSI model, BGP)

WORK SCHEDULE FOR A NETWORK ENGINEER

This position reports to our Savannah office but may be required to commute to any office location within our service territory as necessary. Standard days of work are Monday through Friday, however, it also includes flexible hours outside normal business hours, including occasional weekends and holidays if there are emergencies.
