Responsibilities:
Organizational Leadership
- Drive strategic growth for the excavation and pipelaying division, aligning with company financial and operational goals.
- Collaborate with Sales and Project Management to develop project strategies and solutions.
- Coordinate across departments to ensure seamless project delivery and execution.
- Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve operational success.
Project Execution
- Lead the development and continuous improvement of processes to enhance job quality and efficiency.
- Build and manage a skilled team of field personnel and estimators for high-quality, on-time, and safe project delivery.
- Implement best practices to boost productivity and ensure optimal project outcomes.
People Development
- Foster a culture focused on safety, customer satisfaction, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Promote training and professional development initiatives to grow technical knowledge and leadership skills across the team.
- Empower team members to make sound decisions while maintaining performance standards and accountability.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- 8+ years of progressive management experience, including 5+ years in high-level operations within the underground pipe and excavation industry.
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing large, diverse teams.
- Strong leadership skills with a commitment to customer service and operational excellence.
- Ability to manage sensitive issues and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Deep technical expertise in underground pipe systems and excavation processes.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Valid driver’s license required.
