Your role
As a Senior Quality Test Engineer within our testing team, you’ll work alongside a team of like-minded individuals and partner closely with our clients on a wide variety of collaborative and innovative engagements.
You will play a key role in:
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand system requirements and functionality.
- Develop and document detailed test plans and BDD test cases based on functional specifications / business requirements/ user stories ·
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts · Execute exploratory functional and automated regression tests to identify defects and ensure software quality.
- Report and track defects using defect management tools and ensure proper resolution. · Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and potential improvements.
- Maintain comprehensive test documentation and ensure compliance with testing standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
- Be proficient in JIRA, Confluence, Zephyr or similar tools · Conduct API, system, integration, cross browser, UAT testing & support post implementation testing.
Your Profile
- At least 5+ years of experience in software testing & automation
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies. ·
- Strong communication skills · excellent analytical and problem-solving skills ·
- Good knowledge/ working experience in insurance/ finance domains
