The Role: As a Dimensional Inspector, you are the final line of defense for quality. Your work ensures that every casting, machined part, fabrication, and weldment meets exacting specifications. Using cutting-edge tools like Faro Arms, CMMs, and precision measuring equipment, you’ll safeguard the integrity of our products and the reputation of PRL.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead with precision—conduct meticulous dimensional inspections using advanced mechanical and electronic measuring tools.
- Execute non-destructive testing (Visual and Liquid Penetrant) to ensure compliance with strict industry standards.
- Analyze blueprints, drawings, and specifications to verify parts meet exact requirements.
- Operate forklifts, cranes, and specialized equipment to safely handle critical components.
- Maintain detailed inspection records and drive continuous improvement in quality assurance.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Experience: 2+ years in dimensional inspection or related fields (industrial, machining, mechanical).
- Education: High school diploma required; vocational training or mechanical technology degree preferred.
- Skills:
- Exceptional ability to work independently and execute tasks with precision.
- Strong proficiency in using inspection tools, reading blueprints, and following process-driven workflows.
