Role and Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end talent acquisition process across assigned departments or business units.
  • Focused recruitment of leadership positions.  
  • Supervise and develop a team of Talent Partners.
  • Partner with hiring managers and HRBPs to understand current and future workforce needs.
  • Build and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract diverse and qualified talent.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reporting on time-to-fill, quality of hire, pipeline strength, and hiring manager satisfaction.
  • Optimize recruitment processes, tools, and technology to ensure efficiency and scalability.
  • Develop and maintain talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill roles.
  • Promote the company’s employer brand through social media, events, and partnerships.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies and vendors as needed.

 

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has supervisory responsibilities over the Talent Partners and Onboarding Specialists.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred. A combination of 5+ years of experience in talent acquisition and at least 2 years in a leadership role may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Strong knowledge of recruiting best practices, sourcing tools, and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  • Demonstrated experience in high-volume and/or specialized recruiting environments.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze and report on metrics to drive improvements.
  • Knowledge of employment law and recruitment compliance practices.
  • Exceptional strategic thinker and results-oriented.
  • Expert in sourcing, recruiting operations and talent planning.
  • Expert in using platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed and other sourcing tools.
  • Valid driver license and reliable personal transportation.
  • Scheduling flexibility to fit business needs.
  • Must be able to travel across worksites throughout the Goodwill Central Texas region.

 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Bilingual
  • Experience with recruitment marketing or employer branding strategies.
  • Prior experience in the non-profit industry.

 

 

Physical Requirements 

  • Ability to sit or stand for eight hours.
  • Ability to bend and twist.
  • Moderate noise (i.e., business office with computers, phones, printers, light traffic).
  • Ability to work in a confined area.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone, keyboard, reach, stoop and kneel.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.
  • Regular, predictable attendance is required as business demands dictate.
