Physicians’ Clinic of Iowa is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support our physicians and clinical team in the Department of ENT. This is a great opportunity to be part of a high-performing, patient-focused team within one of the region’s most respected healthcare organizations.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: 

  • Assist physicians and clinical team during scheduled clinic hours, ensuring efficient patient flow and support.
  • Room patients, obtain and document vital signs, and update health information in the electronic health record (EHR).
  • Coordinate diagnostic tests, procedures, and referrals as applicable.
  • Maintain clean, well-stocked, and organized exam rooms and clinical areas.
  • Monitor, record, and report equipment safety checks and temperature logs in compliance with clinic protocols.
  • Clean, handle, and maintain endoscopes and other medical instruments following established procedures.
  • Manage and route electronic faxes, physical mail, and incoming correspondence in a timely and accurate manner.

The leading candidate will demonstrate behaviors reflective of PCI’s culture including, demonstrating a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care, collaborating effectively with team members, and maintaining a high standard of reliability and professionalism. Excellent communication skills are essential. Candidates must be or become proficient in the use of computer systems, including electronic medical records (EMR). 

Must be Certified Nurse Assistant.  CPR certification required or must become certified within 60 days of employment.
