We’re seeking an Integrated Product Team Lead (IPT Lead) at our Huntington Beach location to support the manufacturing and assembly of composite and metallic rocket motor components by leading one of our customer-focused IPTs.  

 

As IPT Lead, you will manage a team of program managers and engineers to execute customer contracts by driving ownership of schedule, budget, technical requirements. The ideal candidate will have proven industry experience as an Aerospace Program Manager with direct personnel management experience.  

 

Our overall objective is to create ecstatic customers by ensuring all projects/orders deliver the desired outcome in a prompt and efficient manner.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: 

 

  • Leading, mentoring, and evaluating program managers and other staff. 
  • Coordinating and deconflicting cross-program tasks. 
  • Applying change, risk, and resource management. 
  • Assessing program performance and course correcting as needed by tracking project costs, schedule and technical progress to ensure that cost, schedule and technical objectives of a program are met.
  • Preparing relevant reports for senior leadership. 
  • Ensuring consistent communication with customers and stakeholders regarding program statuses. 
  • Developing long-term business relationships through programmatic interactions with customers such as verbal (e.g. conference calls, technical interchange meetings and design reviews) and written (e.g. emails, reports and proposals) communications.
  • Project planning to determine project cost and schedules based on technical objectives, and identifying resource needs.
  • Ensuring proper documentation of System Requirements and Contract Deliverables.

 

 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: 

 

  • Proven experience as a Program Manager or other managerial experience. 
  • Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods. 
  • Ability to collaborate and work with others. 
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office; working knowledge of program/project management software (Basecamp, MS Project etc.). 
  • Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities. 
  • Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (green card holder) or other status as a U.S. Person).

 

 

 

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATONS: 

 

  • BS/BA in management or relevant field (Business, Engineering, etc.).
  • M.S. or MBA.
  • 2+ years' experience managing teams.
  • Outstanding leadership and organizational skills. 
  • PMP Certificate.
  • Six-Sigma Certification.
  • Experience designing and/or manufacturing composites.
  • Experience drafting proposals.
  • Active DoD SECRET clearance.

 

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:  

 

  • Travel up to 10% to support onsite customer meetings, vendor management, industry conferences, and cross-divisional collaboration.

Salary Range: $130,000.00 To $175,000.00 Annually
