Position Overview:

CUMULUS MEDIA | Westwood One - Nashville is looking for a dynamic, full-time Producer to join our Content Show team. Applicants must have a dedicated work ethic with a strong background in executing a live in-studio show and audio production.  You’ll be collaborating with our team to execute the on-air production of a daily show and features/projects for on-air, web, social media content and video postings. 

 

The Producer organizes, conceptualizes, and develops topics, features, and guests that represents the lifestyle and interests of the show’s listeners. They also partner with the show’s host, the programming team, and others to create engaging content, increase listenership, and enhance listener’s satisfaction and passion. The producer is responsible for the daily technical operation of the show.  

Key Responsibilities & Qualifications:

• Daily Show Execution: Live show production, listener engagement, and production elements.
• Content Research and Creation: Research trending topics, write scripts, and prepare content for various platforms.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the host and programming team to develop engaging content and increase listenership.
• Guest Coordination: Schedule and pre-interview guests for on-air and digital platforms.
• Brand Management: Grow the show's brand through strategic content creation and social media engagement.
• Revenue Opportunities: Identify and maximize revenue opportunities through content and advertising integration.
• Console/Technical Operations: Produce and board op live show.  Maintain master audio archives and ensure smooth technical operations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of three years in audio, radio, or video production.
• Proficiency in VoxPro, Adobe Audition, OpX, and social media platforms.
• Strong organizational, communication, and critical thinking skills.
• Associate degree or equivalent experience, with a preference for a bachelor's degree.
• In-depth understanding of country music, pop culture, and FCC regulations.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
