The Department of Sociology and Gerontology offers Miami University’s Organizational Leadership major. The department seeks candidates to teach in the Organizational Leadership curriculum, and provide leadership and development for the Organizational Leadership program and students. This hire will have the chance to shape the Organizational Leadership curriculum, advise Organizational Leadership majors, teach core courses in the major (Introduction to Organizational Leadership; Organizational Leadership Capstone) and develop/teach courses in non-profit leadership and management and candidate’s other areas of expertise.
Minimum Qualifications:
Required: Doctoral Degree in leadership, management, or related field for appointment as Assistant Teaching Professor; Master’s degree in leadership, management, or a related field for appointment as For Assistant Lecturer:
Consideration will be given to candidates with demonstrated excellence in non-profit management and leadership; experience in undergraduate or continuing education
