Our IT Operations Specialist plays a critical role in maintaining the continuity and efficiency of computer system services for end users. This role provides technical expertise, assistance, and hands-on support for hardware, software, and workstation-related issues. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment to resolve technical problems and support IT operations. This is a full time, onsite position based in our Othello, WA manufacturing facility.
Your Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage incoming service requests using the OTRS ticketing system, including creating/resolving tickets in accordance with our standard SLA’s.
- Provide Tier 1 technical support and resolve common hardware, software, and connectivity issues with printers, computers.
- Perform imaging, deployment, and asset management for IT equipment.
- Directly involved with infrastructure upgrades including set up and configure workstations including PCs, monitors, docking stations, and terminals.
- Add and configure new devices on the network using MAC filtering, ensuring compliance with network security protocols and centralized device management standards
- Deliver clear technical assistance and documentation to end users.
- Ensure proper workstation cable management and physical setup to maintain an organized and efficient workspace.
- Assist with the procurement of new technology/equipment aligned to project initiatives
Salary/ Pay Range - $78,000-$85,000
The compensation range provided reflects the expected base compensation only and does not include potential bonuses, incentive plans, or benefits. An individual’s final compensation offer will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to education level, relevant experience, training, and geographic location.
Your Profile:
- Highschool diploma/GED with 3-5 years of experience in a Help Desk or IT support role
- Associate’s/ Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Technology/ related field strongly preferred
- Proficiency in basic hardware/software troubleshooting
- Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., OTRS/ Service Now or similar)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage workstation setups, cable organization, and IT asset tracking
