We employ approximately 630 teachers, principals, and other staff across three elementary sites, one middle school, one high school, one alternative high school, and one K-8 blended learning school.

Tehachapi Unified School District has vacancies for a 6.50 hours per day, 5 days per week, Mod-Severe/SCIA Para-Educator CLASSIFIED SUBSTITUTE out of the District Office. These positions are for a one-on-one aide in a mod-severe classroom or as a classroom aide in a mod-severe classroom Work times and work site may vary depending on assignment and are subject to change based upon the needs of the District
