The Department of Psychology is seeking candidates for Student Worker.

 

General duties may include office work including phone coverage, reception, keeping office supplies stocked and inventoried, copying and scanning, working with faculty & students, website maintenance and social media posting, searching for grants and events, sorting and delivering department mail, as well as light event work. 

 

Successful candidates will be expected to have a minimum of six to and a maximum of 8 hours per week available to work. Preference will be given to current Psychology majors who have been in the major for at least one year.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Reception and phone coverage
  • Office supplies inventory and copy room maintenance 
  • Working with program assistant on website maintenance and social media posts
  • Creating and maintaining a grant and internship database

     

  • Copying and scanning
  • Working with faculty and students
  • Sorting and delivering department mail
  • Maintenance of bulletin board and office spaces
  • Other tasks as assigned

  •  Website skills and content creation

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Advanced computer skills
  • Web design and content creation experience
  • Customer service experience
  • Psychology major for at least 1 year
