Job Purpose:
- The MOS Maintenance Manager at Crystal Finishing Systems is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operational support of manufacturing systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. This role involves managing maintenance teams, developing maintenance strategies, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards to support the company's production goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the maintenance team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
- Coordinate with production and engineering teams to schedule maintenance activities without disrupting production schedules.
- Monitor and analyze equipment performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations and standards.
- Manage the maintenance budget, including forecasting and controlling expenditures.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely procurement of parts and services.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance processes and systems.
- Prepare and present reports on maintenance activities, performance metrics, and improvement plans to senior management.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in maintenance technologies and practices.
Qualifications
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance management within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of managing and leading a maintenance team to achieve operational excellence.
- Experience with maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution of preventive maintenance programs.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
- Proficient in using maintenance management software and tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to analyze data and metrics to drive decision-making and process improvements.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing setting.
