Your Key Responsibilities

As a Maintenance Planner at Schaeffler’s new state-of-the-art eMobility plant in Dover, Ohio, you will play a critical role in ensuring our manufacturing operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for developing and optimizing maintenance plans, coordinating maintenance activities, and supporting the digital transformation of our asset management processes. Your organizational skills, technical knowledge, and attention to detail will contribute directly to the reliability and productivity of our world-class facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Management

    • Maintain, organize, and update plant maintenance master data in CMMS/ERP systems (e.g., SAP PM).
    • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance of maintenance data with internal standards and protocols.
  • Planning and Optimization

    • Analyze equipment data, maintenance history, and performance trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
    • Coordinate with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to schedule and optimize preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Reporting and Analysis

    • Prepare and distribute regular reports on maintenance KPIs, downtime, and work order statuses.
    • Identify and recommend process improvements through thorough data analysis.
  • Documentation

    • Develop, maintain, and update documentation for all maintenance planning records, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Project Support

    • Assist with digitalization initiatives and continuous improvement projects related to asset management and maintenance planning.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Data Management, or comparable field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years’ experience in data management, asset management, or maintenance planning—preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency with CMMS/ERP software (SAP PM preferred).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • Advanced Excel or data analysis skills; experience with digitalization/Industry 4.0 initiatives a plus.
  • External applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment VISA or other sponsorship
