Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.


Job Purpose:

The successful trainer will lead efforts to develop and implement training curriculum, honoring our commitment to excellence by ensuring all training materials are high-quality and effective. They will coordinate and conduct training sessions in a classroom setting on a variety of topics, creating positive experiences for participants through engaging and informative sessions. By creating and distributing web-based training programs, they will foster lifelong learning and provide continuous development opportunities for our workforce. Exhibiting a pioneering spirit, the trainer will seek innovative methods and technologies to enhance the training experience. Demonstrating good stewardship, they will efficiently manage resources to create a talented, robust, and engaged workforce that will propel the organization forward.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Honoring Commitments:

  • Develop and implement training curriculum, ensuring high-quality and effective materials that meet organizational standards.
  • Identify participants and execute the designed courses, ensuring that all training sessions are delivered as planned and commitments to learning and development are fulfilled.

Creating Positive Experiences:

  • Proactively work with subject matter experts and internal business partners to obtain feedback and direction, assess training needs, and design appropriate curriculum, fostering a collaborative and engaging learning environment.
  • Conduct classroom and web-based training using effective presentation skills and classroom management, creating positive and impactful training experiences for all participants.

Fostering Lifelong Learning:

  • Design and incorporate web-based content into the company learning management system, providing continuous learning opportunities for employees.
  • Create additional training materials for distribution, supporting ongoing education and development.

Exhibiting a Pioneering Spirit:

  • Identify training delivery methods available to achieve learning and development goals, continuously seeking innovative approaches to enhance the training experience.
  • Lead instruction of employees, customers, and other key stakeholders as needed, exploring new ways to effectively deliver training content.

Demonstrating Good Stewardship:

  • Establish a methodology to measure the success of participants through the program, ensuring resources are used effectively to achieve desired learning outcomes.
  • Monitor and adjust training/learning processes and procedures as required, maintaining efficient and responsible management of training resources.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, maintaining a commitment to excellence and a proactive approach in all tasks to support the overall success of the team and company.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of related experience or equivalent work experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop an effective training curriculum
  • Operations based experience and mindset is required
  • Ability to travel 15% - 20% with occasional overnights
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Strong computer skills required
  • Dependable and reliable attendance required
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Valid driver's license required
