Description

About Us

We’re building a nimble, execution-focused investment platform with a private equity mindset. We target real estate and operating assets with value potential and strong upside. Our team operates lean, fast, and collaboratively across sourcing, underwriting, and post-close performance. We’re seeking an Associate who is detail-obsessed, intellectually curious, and excited to help drive deal execution and platform scale.

The Role

Reporting to the Director or VP of Real Estate, this is a hands-on, high-visibility role for an Associate who wants to go beyond just running models. You’ll support underwriting, diligence, and transaction execution across a growing portfolio, while also playing a key role in post-acquisition operations. The right candidate will be eager to learn from experienced leadership, contribute to every phase of the investment cycle, and grow into a broader strategic role over time.

This is not a passive “support role”—we expect you to own your work, think critically, and add value well beyond the spreadsheet.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deal Support & Execution
  • Build and maintain financial models and investment memos for active and pipeline deals
  • Participate in due diligence, data analysis, and coordination with brokers, legal, and third parties
  • Help prepare materials for Investment Committee and assist in pipeline tracking
  • Maintain organized deal folders and track assumptions and key milestones
  • Post-Acquisition & Operational Support
  • Track and report on business plan execution alongside VP and Asset Manager
  • Participate in twice-weekly asset review meetings and contribute to performance monitoring
  • Assist with capital draw schedules, lender reporting, and investor updates
  • Contribute to systems and workflows for tracking KPIs and operational performance
  • Team & Platform Enablement
  • Experiment with AI tools and automation to improve modeling, memo drafting, and research
  • Help document and refine internal processes and prompt libraries
  • Take on ad hoc strategic projects to support platform growth

What We’re Looking For

  • 2–5 years of experience in investment banking, real estate private equity, or institutional investing
  • Strong financial modeling and Excel skills (you build models, not just edit them)
  • Excellent written communication and attention to detail
  • Ownership mentality with the ability to work independently and handle competing priorities
  • Coachability and a genuine desire to grow into a well-rounded investor/operator

Compensation & Structure

  • We offer a compensation structure that rewards execution, accountability, and team contribution.
  • Base Salary Range: Competitive DOE
  • Bonus Potential: Up to 20% of base, based on performance and firm results
  • Benefits: Full healthcare package, PTO, tech access, and professional development support
  • Workload & Lifestyle: This is a full-time role in a fast-paced environment, but not designed for 80-hour workweeks. We value focused intensity over face time.

Requirements

Non-Negotiables - Our bar is high—not just for skills, but for how you operate. You should align with the following:

  • Character & Integrity: You act with ethics and accountability in everything you do
  • Hungry to Win: You’re internally driven, outcome-oriented, and motivated to go further than your job description
  • Institutional Exposure: You’ve been trained in a demanding, high-performing environment and know how to meet that standard consistently
  • Execution-First Mindset: You prioritize clarity, action, and results—ideas are great, execution wins
  • Low-Ego, High-Ownership: You don’t need credit. You need progress. You step up, take ownership, and elevate the team

Not sure you meet every single qualification? Studies show that women and underrepresented groups often hold back from applying unless they check every box. If this role excites you, we encourage you to apply. You may be exactly who we’re looking for. Equal Opportunity Statement We are an equal opportunity employer and believe in building a team that reflects a diverse set of backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. We welcome applicants from all walks of life—regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other protected status.
