Desert Highlands Association/Golf Club is looking for a Full-Time Valet attendant with a hospitality background to join our DH family and Valet team, and make us even more awesome than we already are! Must have a can-do attitude, great customer service, enjoy face to face interactions with members and guests, and likes to smile.

Primary Purpose:
The Valet Attendant delivers an exceptional, personalized experience to Members and Guests, serving as the first point of contact and embodying the standards of our luxury private club. Responsibilities include promptly and courteously greeting Members and Guests, parking and retrieving vehicles with care and efficiency, and providing knowledgeable assistance with inquiries or directions. Valets anticipate and fulfill guest needs with professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail, ensuring every interaction reflects the elevated service and refined atmosphere our Members expect. Additional duties may be assigned to support a seamless and memorable club experience.
Essential Functions:
1. Treats all members, guests, and employees with respect. Maintains friendly appearance; greets Members and Guests by name with a smile.
2. Ensures clothing is clean, pressed, and in good condition and overall attire and appearance meets dress code guidelines.
3. Maintains cleanliness of work area.
4. Park automobiles for members and guests. Help members and guests in and out of automobiles.
5. Parks vehicles (pull keys) in designated valet parking areas and retrieves vehicles on request.
6. Assist members and guests with personal belongings.
7. Provide directions to various places throughout the clubhouse
8. Respond to member/guest inquiries related to Club policies and procedures.
9. Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment, with continual emphasis on promoting employee health and safety. Assists in training colleagues in proper safety techniques.
10. Proactively communicate with other departments (Security, F&B, Golf) in regards to Member and Guests arrival and departure using radio, headset.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or equivalent (GED). One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Must have a valid AZ driver's license and a history of safe driving. 3 Year clean MVR.
. Must be 19 years of age for Insurability purposes.
· Must be able to operate and drive safely automatic and manual automobiles.
· Present a positive, professional image.
· Must be self-motivated and customer service oriented.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
· Experience using communications and technology equipment,
· Reliable and predictable attendance.
· Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions; skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards.
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
· Position is in a busy golf club in a private residential community in N. Scottsdale.
· Must be able to frequently walk, sit, stand, bend, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear, stoop, kneel, crouch, close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
· This role requires standing, walking, running, and lifting 25 to 50 pounds periodically throughout shift.
· The employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions including high temperatures.
· The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts.
· The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
