Description

South Riding Pediatrics

A Division Of Trusted Doctors

Hiring Bonus + Amazing Perks!

Why You’ll Love Us

Working in pediatrics means two things:

  1. Every day matters because kids’ health matters.

  2. You’ll never have a boring workday (toddlers don’t believe in “boring”).

We’re a busy, welcoming pediatric practice in Chantilly, VA, looking for an experienced full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. We work hard, laugh often, and support each other—because teamwork makes the dream work (and keeps the waiting room chaos manageable).

Hours: 4 days per week, 9.5 hours/day, plus rotating Saturdays (8am–12pm).

Perks? Oh yes:

  • Paid Time Off (go to the beach, binge Netflix—we don’t judge)

  • 401k (because future you will thank you)

  • Health Insurance (we got you covered)

  • Paid Holidays (built-in long weekends!)

Requirements

What You’ll Do (aka Your Superpowers)

  • Provide top-notch nursing care for our pint-sized patients (immunizations, antibiotics, triage, and more).

  • Keep medical records updated like a pro (progress notes, immunization records, all the important stuff).

  • Prep patients for exams, collect vitals, and make families feel comfortable.

  • Assist providers during treatments and exams—you’re their right hand.

  • Spot and report patient reactions—because you’ve got eagle eyes.

  • Educate parents (in person or by phone) so they leave feeling informed and confident.

  • Keep exam rooms stocked and organized (a tidy room = a calmer day).

  • Protect patient confidentiality like it’s a superhero secret identity.

What We’re Looking For

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.

  • 1+ year of nursing experience (bonus points if it’s in pediatrics).

  • Valid Commonwealth of Virginia Nursing License.

  • CPR Certification (because safety first).

  • Someone who can stay calm in an emergency and communicate clearly (parents appreciate that!).

  • Tech-savvy enough to navigate EMRs and medical equipment without fear.

  • A team player who knows when to lead, when to follow, and when to grab coffee for a teammate.

Ready to Join Us?

If you’re passionate about pediatrics, thrive in a supportive team, and love the idea of helping little ones grow up healthy, we’d love to meet you!

Apply today and come see why our office is a great place to work.
