Decatur Manor, a Specialized Mental Health Rehabilitation Facility (SMHRF) in Decatur, IL, has an Immediate Opening for a Food Services Supervisor. This is a Full Time, Salaried position up to $70,000 if a CDM.  Must be open to being on-call for weekends. 

Responsibilities of the Food Services Supervisor:

• Establish dietary policies in conjunction with the Dietary Consultant
• Ensure the use of standardized recipes in food preparation
• Order all food and kitchen supplies
• Supervise the receipt and storage of kitchen deliveries
• Oversee and control food and labor costs
• Ensure proper maintenance of all food service equipment
• Maintain an organized, safe storage room

Requirements

Requirements of the Food Services Supervisor:

• Graduation from a course in Food Service supervision preferred
• Serve Safe required
• CDM (Certified Dietary Manager) Certification required 
• Sanitation Certification highly desirable
• Supervisory experience, preferably in a food service environment
• Strong administrative, managerial and interpersonal skills
• Experience in a long-term care and/or healthcare facility preferred
• Maintain confidentiality of residents’ information in compliance with HIPAA
