Your Role & Responsibilities:
- Play a lead role in strategic planning and long-term visioning for the organization, aligning financial strategy with the ministry’s goals.
- Collaborate closely with the CEO and senior leadership on growth opportunities, financial risk management, and resource allocation.
- Guide financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures.
- Coordinate audits and oversee accurate, timely reporting.
- Lead the annual budgeting process and maintain sound expense control systems.
- Provide status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting key financial data to the CEO and Board.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local legal and regulatory requirements.
- Serve as a hands-on, proactive leader who takes initiative, drives projects forward, and solves problems without waiting for direction.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field; CPA or Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive financial leadership experience, including at least 2 years in a CFO or senior financial role.
- Proven experience in a nonprofit, standalone organization, preferably in senior living or healthcare.
- Deep understanding of HUD financing, as well as Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement in long-term care environments.
- Proficiency in PointClickCare and familiarity with other healthcare financial systems.
- Demonstrated success in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, compliance, and audits.
- Self-starter with a proven track record of identifying challenges and proposing effective, timely solutions.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Onsite, full-time presence required to support day-to-day operations and team collaboration.
