We seek a motivated and detail-oriented Aerospace Mechanic Helper to assist our team of experienced aerospace mechanics in the maintenance, repair, and assembly of aerospace components. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in aerospace technology and mechanics, be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and follow precise instructions while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

This is a temporary position for up to six months, depending on project timelines.

What you'll do:

  • Assist aerospace mechanics in the maintenance, inspection, and repair of aerospace systems 
  • Handle and organize tools, parts, and equipment for the mechanic team 
  • Assist with disassembling and reassembling ground support equipment 
  • Clean, lubricate, and inspect shop machinery 
  • Follow technical manuals and instructions to ensure repairs and maintenance are completed accurately and safely 
  • Assist with inventory management by keeping track of tools, parts, and materials 
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety standards 
  • Support the production and test team in preparation of various system test configurations 
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment 
  • Help with documentation and reporting of equipment maintenance activities and inspections 
  • Perform daily and weekly checklist 
  • Unpackage receivable items and support packaging of outgoing products 

What you'll bring:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (mechanical or technical courses a plus) 
  • Previous experience in a mechanical or aerospace-related field is preferred but not required 
  • Strong interest in aerospace mechanics 
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical tools, systems, and aircraft components is a plus 
  • Ability to follow instructions carefully and work under supervision 
  • Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious attitude 
  • Ability to work well in a team environment 
  • Willingness to learn and undergo on-the-job training 
  • Good physical stamina and ability to work in confined spaces or at heights 
  • Must be able to lift and carry equipment, parts, and tools up to 50lbs
